With its little village green about half a mile away, Sandymount has a great selection of restaurants, shops and pubs to choose from. Nearby, the Dart fast train runs to the south of Dublin as far as Greystones, County Wicklow, opening up the whole east coast in a wonderful train ride. Stop off at Dun Laoire on the way, and ’walk the pier’, and pass Killarney known as the Irish Bay of Naples! Once in Dublin, visitors will find a wealth of cultural attractions, fine Georgian architecture, bustling street markets and shops, as well as excellent pubs and restaurants.
