Ideally situated for a visit to the vibrant and colourful city of Dublin, this attractive townhouse is situated in the sought-after area of Sandymount, a short stroll from Sandymount Strand, promenade and coast (see photos below), and only 3 miles from the city centre. One of a little row in a courtyard setting, it is tastefully furnished and equipped, with its own enclosed patio, and is perfect for small families or couples. This is Dublin’s most prestigious residential and corporate area where you will find embassies, international hotels and office headquarters. With its little village green about half a mile away, Sandymount has a great selection of restaurants, shops and pubs to choose from. Nearby, the Dart fast train runs to the south of Dublin as far as Greystones, County Wicklow, opening up the whole east coast in a wonderful train ride. Stop off at Dun Laoire on the way, and ’walk the pier’, and pass Killarney known as the Irish Bay of Naples! Once in Dublin, visitors will find a wealth of cultural attractions, fine Georgian architecture, bustling street markets and shops, as well as excellent pubs and restaurants. Other more unusual attractions include the Guinness Brewery, the National Wax Museum and the Writers’ Museum, which celebrates the city’s long and continuing history as a literary centre. The huge Phoenix Park boasts gardens, lakes, sporting facilities and a zoo.
