Set along the road at the entrance to the picturesque village of Kildysart on the banks of the Shannon Estuary, it is a great spot for coarse/trout fishing. Just 22 miles from Shannon Airport, this makes an ideal base to explore Kerry, Clare and Galway. It is a 40-minute drive to the beautiful coastline resorts of Kilkee, Lahinch and the famous Doonbeg Golf Course. Further on up the coast are the Burren National Park, the Cliffs of Moher and the Ailwee Caves. Kildysart is just 14 miles from the Killimer ferry, with regular trips to and from Kerry.
