This holiday cottage is wonderfully set in the hills above Castlebar. The property has been totally refurbished to a very good standard whilst retaining the ’old world’ feel. Situated only 4 miles from Castlebar, which has a swimming pool, golf course, bowling, tennis, activity centre, restaurants and pubs. Pontoon, the lower part of Lough Conn, is 10 miles with fishing, boat hire and ghillies available. Located on the ’windy gap’ with miles of terrain suitable for excellent walking. Further afield Westport, Achill Island, Foxford, Ballina and the Ceide Fields are all worth visiting. Galway city, Connemara, Sligo are all within 1 hour drive.
