Situated on Galway Bay, this semi-detached holiday cottage is only 2 miles from the pretty village of Clarenbridge - famous for its oyster festival and seafood restaurants (most notably Paddy Burkes). Adjacent to the owner’s home and modern and cosy, the cottage still retains old world charm, with thatched roof and open plan kitchen/living rooms. The surrounding area offers no end of amenities: The Burren and Connemara display fantastic scenery; for sports activities there are the Kilcolgan Riding Centre and several golf courses; Renville Park is ideal for walking, picnics and the sailing club. Galway City is 10 miles and offers street festivals, arts festivals, racing festivals and many more. The Aran Islands are also well worth a trip.
