On a rugged hillside overlooking the wild Atlantic Ocean with incredible views of the rocky coastline below, and the islands of Deenish and Scariff, this cottage will provide a unique holiday base. The views from the living area and main bedrooms offer ever changing scenes of this most scenic holiday destination. There are many activities to be enjoyed in the surrounding area including fishing, water sports, horse-riding and walking (the Kerry Way passes nearby). Boats leave from the nearby harbour for the Skellig Islands, an ancient monastic settlement and bird sanctuary. Waterville, 5 miles, boasts two golf courses and is famous for lake and river fishing and its gourmet restaurants. The village of Caherdaniel has two pubs, one with bar food and some evenings of traditional music during the summer months. Shop 4 miles.
