With its own separate entrance and patio, it provides a peaceful haven from which to explore the local spectacularly scenic area. The small village of Caherdaniel, only a mile away has a local shop and two pubs, one serving bar food. The beautiful blue flag beach at Derrynane, 3 miles offers water sports and horse riding. There are two golf courses and fishing in nearby Waterville, 8 miles, along with great walks in the local area.
