On the edge of Dunmore East these comfortable, semi-detached holiday homes have an attractive lounge with an open fire and there is a conservtory style dining room. They are set in a quiet cul de sac just 150 yards from golden sands, a pub and a restaurant. Dunmore East is a much sought after seaside village with pretty thatched cottages, a golden beach and a fishing harbour. There is a very popular sailing club and a water sports adventure centre, both of which offer courses and lessons during the summer months. The village also boasts lively pubs, restaurants, a park, tennis courts plus woodland walks, golf, boat trips and fishing. Horse riding is also available locally. A 12 mile drive will bring you to Waterford city which has numerous facilities including a cinema, theatre, museums, excellent shopping and the world famous crystal factory. For surfers and swimmers, the very lively resort of Tramore (10 miles) has surf schools, Splashworld, an indoor swimming complex, amusements and fun fair in the summer. There are some beautiful waks in the Comeragh Mountains where you can explore forests, lakes and waterfalls. This makes a good base for touring throughout the sunny south east of Ireland and for visiting some of the regions many historic attractions including Lismore Castle, Kilkenney Castle, the Rock of Cashel and the Dunbrody Famine Ship. County Wexford can be reached by the Passage East Car Ferry which is a convenient way to explore the scenic Hook Peninsula including the lighthouse, Tintern Abbey. _Open fire in living room.
